HALVANAT / INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Rights held with care.
Use authorized with clarity.

Halvanat Intellectual Property Collective (HIPC) is Halvanat Music Collective's independent rights unit. It maintains the collective's rights records and is the designated rights holder for rights that have been validly transferred to or acquired by HIPC.

01 / STRUCTURE

An independent unit within Halvanat

HIPC operates as a distinct unit directly under Halvanat Music Collective, with responsibility for rights custody, records, licensing requests and rights administration. It is organizationally independent in its rights work; this description does not by itself claim that HIPC is a separately incorporated legal entity.

02 / RIGHTS HOLDER

Central rights custody

Halvanat's policy is for HIPC to be the central holder of all transferable copyright and related rights in the collective's catalog. The particular rights HIPC may hold or administer must be supported by the applicable signed assignment, license, mandate or other lawful instrument. Artists retain any rights not granted in that instrument, and creators' non-transferable moral rights remain governed by applicable law.

RIGHTS / TRANSPARENCY

What “HIPC holds the rights” means

For every covered song, recording, performance, artwork or other asset, the rights file should identify the creator, the rights holder, the scope of the grant, territory, duration, permitted uses, revenue terms and the document that supports the grant. HIPC's internal register records those details; it is not a substitute for the signed agreement or proof of a transfer that never occurred.

Where ownership has been validly transferred to HIPC, HIPC is the rights holder within that documented scope. Where an artist or third party has instead licensed specific rights, those rights remain subject to the license and its limits. HIPC does not claim rights in a work merely because it appears in a catalog or database.

PERMISSIONS

Ask HIPC before using catalog rights

Halvanat Music Collective, Hermine Music Distribution and any other party must obtain HIPC's prior written authorization before exploiting or licensing rights that HIPC owns or administers. The request should name the asset, intended use, territory, term, platforms, compensation and any sublicensing. HIPC verifies that the requested use falls within its authority and the underlying artist agreement before granting permission.

ACCESS / PRIVACY

Records stay restricted

Internal rights files are for authorized Halvanat personnel whose work requires access. Access levels separate read-only review, rights operations, management and account administration. Sign-in is required, actions are logged and confidential contracts or personal information are not exposed on this public page. The staff portal requires Cloudflare Pages Functions and a bound D1 database to be configured before it can operate.
